Our TRASE team is looking forward to welcoming you to in Crete this July! We’re a group of Greek Early Career Researchers studying animal societies, individual and group social behaviour and evolution across many species, from fish and mice to primates and humans.

    Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology with an expertise in behavioural ecology of individual differences (Plon, Germany).

  • Dr Dimitra Georgopoulou

    Postdoctoral Researcher at the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research with an expertise in computational biology and animal movement (Heraklion, Greece).

  • Dr Marina Papadopoulou

    Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck institute for Human Developement with an expertise in self-organization of social systems(Berlin, Germany).

  • Dr Danai Papageorgiou

    Emmy Noether Group Leader at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin with an expertise in behavioural ecology, using biologging tools, social network analysis and drone tracking (Berlin, Germany).

  • Dr Nikolaos Smit

    Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Turku with an expertise on the evolution of social and mating systems (Turku, Finland).

  • Dr Alexandros Vezyrakis

    Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Ghent with an expertise on behavioural ecology and animal innovation (Ghent, Belgium).
